  • CNC Stone Carving in Russia: Three Machines for Different Production Needs
    September 21, 2026

Stone processing requirements are rarely identical from one workshop to another. Some customers focus on flat reliefs and lettering, while others need to carve columns, ornaments, sculptures, or other three-dimensional stone pieces.   In August and September 2026, Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd. shipped three stone processing machines to two customers in Russia, including a 3515T-2D three-axis stone carving machine with an additional rotary axis, a 720 integrated profiling and cutting machine, and a 3015T-2D three-axis stone carving machine.   Rather than supplying the same machine configuration to every customer, these orders were configured around different production requirements.   Three Machines, Different Production Tasks Machine Configuration Typical Applications 3515T-2D 3-axis stone carving machine + rotary axis Flat carving, reliefs, lettering, cylindrical carving and 3D stone ornaments 720 Integrated Profiling & Cutting Machine Integrated profiling and cutting structure Stone profiling, contour cutting, shaped stone components and customized edges 3015T-2D 3-axis stone carving machine Stone reliefs, lettering, patterns, decorative panels and general carving work   The 3515T-2D: From Flat Stone to Cylindrical Carving One of the most interesting configurations in this shipment is the 3515T-2D three-axis stone carving machine equipped with a rotary axis.   A standard three-axis carving machine mainly works on a flat X-Y-Z coordinate system. With the additional rotary axis, the machine can also hold cylindrical or column-shaped stone workpieces and rotate them during machining. This means the same machine can be used for different types of projects.   Flat machining: Stone slabs can be positioned on the working table for lettering, relief patterns, decorative motifs and other 2D/3D carving tasks.   Rotary machining: When a cylindrical stone workpiece is mounted on the rotary axis, the workpiece can rotate while the carving tool moves along the programmed path. This configuration is suitable for applications such as stone columns, cylindrical ornaments, pillars and other round decorative components.   For workshops handling both architectural stone decoration and custom carving orders, this configuration can reduce the need to dedicate separate machines to flat and cylindrical work.   Why Add a Rotary Axis to a 3-Axis Stone Carving Machine? A rotary axis is not necessary for every stone workshop. The key question is what kind of workpieces the customer needs to process. Without Rotary Axis With Rotary Axis Mainly flat stone workpieces Flat + cylindrical workpieces Relief carving on slabs Relief carving + rotary carving Stone lettering and patterns Lettering, patterns, columns and ornaments Suitable for mainly 2D/3D flat projects Better suited to mixed production requirements   The important point is not simply adding another axis, but matching the machine structure to the customer's actual workpieces.   The 720 Integrated Profiling & Cutting Machine: A Different Kind of Stone Workflow The second machine shipped to the Russian customer was a 720 integrated profiling and cutting machine.   While a CNC carving machine focuses on carving and detailed surface processing, profiling and cutting equipment addresses another part of stone production: creating the required contour, shape and edge profile.   For stone workshops producing customized architectural components, this type of machine can be used alongside CNC carving equipment to create more complete processing workflows.   For example, a workshop may first cut a stone blank to the required size and contour, then use profiling or carving equipment to process decorative edges or surface details.   This is why machine selection should start with the question: What does the finished stone product look like, and which processing steps are required to make it? Rather than simply asking which machine has more functions.   The 3015T-2D: A Practical CNC Solution for General Stone Carving Another Russian customer selected the 3015T-2D three-axis stone carving machine.   The 3015 working size provides a practical platform for a wide range of common stone carving jobs, including: Stone lettering and inscriptions Memorial and tombstone decoration 2D and 3D relief carving Architectural decorative panels Patterns and ornamental elements Customized stone artwork For workshops whose production is primarily based on flat stone slabs and panels, a conventional three-axis configuration can be a straightforward solution without introducing additional rotary functions that may not be needed.   How Should You Choose Between a Standard 3-Axis CNC and a Rotary-Axis Configuration? This is one of the questions customers often ask before ordering a stone carving machine.   Choose a standard 3-axis configuration when: Your main products are flat slabs, relief panels, stone signs, inscriptions and other flat-surface carving projects.   Consider adding a rotary axis when: You regularly process cylindrical or round stone workpieces such as columns, pillars, cylindrical ornaments or similar components.   Consider combining carving with profiling/cutting equipment when: Your production involves multiple stages, such as cutting a stone blank, creating a specific contour, profiling its edges and then adding decorative carving.   The right configuration depends more on the geometry of the finished product than on the number of machine axes alone.   From Russia Orders to Real Production Scenarios The three machines shipped to Russia in August and September represent three different approaches to stone processing:   3515T-2D + Rotary Axis → Flexible flat and cylindrical carving 720 Integrated Machine → Profiling and cutting operations 3015T-2D → General-purpose three-axis stone carving For Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd., these orders are not simply three machines leaving the factory. They reflect a more practical approach to CNC stone machinery: start from the customer's material, workpiece shape and production process, then build the machine configuration around those requirements.   If your workshop is processing stone slabs, tombstones, architectural components, columns or custom stone ornaments, the key is to select a machine that fits the actual production workflow—not simply the machine with the longest specification list.

According to the official Marmomac information, the exhibition runs from 9:30 to 18:00 during September 22–25.   From Tombstones to Reliefs: What Can a Stone CNC Machine Actually Produce? A stone carving machine is not limited to simple lettering. The appropriate CNC configuration can be selected according to the geometry, material, production volume, and required machining detail.   At the exhibition, JINZUAN will highlight applications including:   Tombstone Engraving: Produce names, dates, portraits, decorative borders, crosses, flowers, and other memorial designs with controlled CNC toolpaths. Stone Lettering: Machine recessed or carved lettering for memorials, architectural signs, monuments, and customized stone products. Tactile Paving: Process repeated tactile patterns and raised-dot surfaces for accessibility-related stone applications. Relief Carving: Create detailed 3D reliefs such as angels, figures, floral patterns, decorative panels, and artistic stone elements. Sink Cutting: Machine customized sink openings and countertop shapes for kitchen, bathroom, and architectural stone fabrication. Column Carving: Process cylindrical or shaped columns, pillars, balusters, and other curved stone components when equipped with the appropriate rotary solution.   These applications demonstrate an important difference between basic stone cutting and CNC stone carving: cutting primarily separates material into a required shape, while CNC carving can control tool movement across multiple axes to reproduce lettering, reliefs, curved profiles, and detailed decorative patterns.   Which Stone CNC Configuration Is Right for Your Workshop? One of the most common questions from stone processors is: “Should I choose a 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis stone carving machine?”   The answer depends more on the workpiece than simply on the number of axes. CNC Configuration Typical Application Main Advantage 3-Axis Stone CNC Tombstones, lettering, flat reliefs, 2D/3D carving Practical solution for flat and relatively simple 3D work 4-Axis Stone CNC Columns, cylindrical workpieces, curved stone components Adds rotary machining capability 5-Axis Stone CNC Complex reliefs, curved surfaces, multi-angle carving Greater tool orientation flexibility for complex geometry 7-Axis Robotic Stone System Large artistic sculptures and highly customized work Flexible movement for complex sculptural production   This is why choosing a CNC machine should start with the question “What stone products do you need to manufacture?”, rather than simply choosing the machine with the highest number of axes.   Why Visit JINZUAN Machinery at Marmomac? ⚙️ Application-Focused CNC Solutions JINZUAN Machinery develops stone processing equipment around actual production requirements. Depending on the project, customers can discuss solutions for flat stone carving, cylindrical carving, relief sculpture, lettering, sink processing, columns, and customized stone products.   🛠️ Different Machine Configurations From 3-axis stone carving machines to 4-axis swing-head and 5-axis CNC solutions, JINZUAN can discuss different machine structures according to workpiece geometry and machining requirements.   📐 Machine Configuration Can Be Customized Stone workshops do not all produce the same products. • Three Stone CNC Machines Head to Croatia with a Custom-Built Upgrade
    September 07, 2026

On September 4, 2026, Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd. completed the export of three 3-axis single-head stone CNC carving machines to Croatia. The shipment includes two 2515T-1D stone CNC machines with 2500 × 1500 mm working tables and one 1515T-1D stone CNC machine with a 1500 × 1500 mm working table.   What makes this order particularly noteworthy is not simply the number of machines, but the configuration selected by the Croatian customer. All three machines were customized with an 11 kW spindle and a 600 mm Z-axis stroke, compared with the conventional configuration of a 7.5 kW spindle and 400 mm Z-axis stroke.   For stone fabricators working with thicker materials, deeper reliefs, three-dimensional sculptures, or more demanding carving paths, this configuration provides additional machining capacity where a standard setup may not be sufficient.   One Order, Two Working Sizes, One Upgraded Configuration The Croatian shipment demonstrates a practical approach to machine selection: different working areas can share the same upgraded machining configuration while serving different production requirements. Model Quantity Working Table Customized Spindle Customized Z-Axis 2515T-1D 2 Sets 2500 × 1500 mm 11 kW 600 mm 1515T-1D 1 Set 1500 × 1500 mm 11 kW 600 mm   The two 2515T-1D machines provide a larger 2500 × 1500 mm working area, making them suitable for larger stone panels, architectural reliefs, tombstone designs, decorative wall elements, and medium-to-large three-dimensional carving projects. The 1515T-1D, with its 1500 × 1500 mm working table, is more compact and can be a practical choice for smaller stone workshops, customized monuments, lettering, relief carving, and detailed decorative components.   Why Did the Customer Choose an 11 kW Spindle and 600 mm Z-Axis? A standard machine configuration is not necessarily the best configuration for every workshop. For many conventional stone carving applications, a 7.5 kW spindle with a 400 mm Z-axis stroke can meet routine requirements. However, customers processing thicker stone blocks or planning deeper carving operations may require greater spindle capacity and additional vertical travel. This Croatian order therefore uses an upgraded configuration: Configuration Conventional Version Croatian Customized Version Spindle Power 7.5 kW 11 kW Z-Axis Stroke 400 mm 600 mm Typical Focus Standard carving Thicker and deeper machining requirements   The key difference is not simply “more power.” The upgraded 11 kW spindle is intended to provide greater machining capacity, while the 600 mm Z-axis stroke gives the tool more vertical working range when handling thicker workpieces or deeper three-dimensional carving paths. For example, when a workshop moves from relatively flat lettering and shallow reliefs to deep reliefs, 3D stone sculptures, thicker stone blocks, or irregular workpieces, the additional Z-axis travel becomes particularly relevant.   From Flat Letters to 3D Stone Carving A 3-axis stone CNC machine can be used for considerably more than simple stone lettering.   Depending on the tooling and programmed toolpath, the machines shipped to Croatia can be applied to: Tombstone & Monument Production: Carving names, portraits, decorative borders, relief patterns, and customized memorial designs. Architectural Stone Decoration: Producing columns, wall panels, decorative motifs, reliefs, and other architectural components. 3D Stone Sculpture: Machining three-dimensional forms and deeper relief structures from marble, granite, and other suitable stone materials. Stone Furniture & Decorative Parts: Processing customized patterns and shaped components for countertops, furniture elements, and interior decoration. This application flexibility is one reason CNC stone carving technology is increasingly used by workshops that need to move from repetitive 2D production toward more customized and value-added stone products.   2515T-1D vs 1515T-1D: Which Working Size Fits Your Production? Choosing between the two models is primarily a question of workpiece size and workshop workflow, rather than simply machine power. Comparison 2515T-1D 1515T-1D Working Table 2500 × 1500 mm 1500 × 1500 mm Recommended For Larger stone panels and monuments Smaller and medium-sized stone products Suitable Applications Large reliefs, architectural decoration, large tombstones Lettering, reliefs, small monuments, decorative parts Croatian Shipment 2 Sets 1 Set   If the majority of your work consists of larger slabs, monuments, or architectural components, the 2515T-1D offers a larger working envelope.   If your workshop mainly processes smaller stone products and customized decorative pieces, the 1515T-1D provides a more compact working solution while retaining the same customized 11 kW spindle and 600 mm Z-axis configuration used in this Croatian order.   What Does This Shipment Tell Stone Machine Buyers? The most important takeaway from this Croatian order is simple: A stone CNC machine should be configured according to the workpiece—not selected only by model name.   Before purchasing, buyers should consider at least four practical questions:   1. What is the maximum stone size to be processed? This determines the appropriate working table, such as 1500 × 1500 mm or 2500 × 1500 mm. 2. How thick are the typical workpieces? Thicker materials may require greater Z-axis travel. 3. Are the projects mainly 2D, relief, or 3D? Deeper and more complex carving can place greater demands on spindle capacity and Z-axis movement. 4. Will production requirements change in the future? If a workshop plans to expand from lettering and shallow reliefs into deeper carving or 3D stone sculpture, selecting an upgraded configuration from the beginning can provide additional production flexibility.   Another Step Forward in Jinzuan's Global Stone CNC Business From the initial selection of working table size to spindle power and Z-axis travel, this Croatian order reflects a straightforward principle at Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd.: the machine should adapt to the customer's production requirements, rather than forcing every customer into the same standard configuration.   The shipment of three 3-axis single-head customized stone CNC machines to Croatia is another example of Jinzuan's ongoing cooperation with international stone processing companies.   For stone workshops looking for a 3-axis CNC solution for lettering, relief carving, architectural decoration, monuments, or 3D stone machining, configuration should always start with the actual workpiece, material, and production goals.

  • A Complete Stone Edge Processing Solution Lands in Vietnam
    August 31, 2026

One Machine Finishes the Edge. A Complete Line Keeps the Slabs Moving.   On August 28, 2026, Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd. completed the export of one MB-22T-3015 22-Head Automatic Stone Edge Polishing Machine to Vietnam.   But this shipment was not simply about delivering a polishing machine.   To improve the customer's overall material handling process, the project also included a complete slab return conveyor line, consisting of roller conveyor units designed to keep stone slabs moving between processing stages without repeatedly placing them on the floor.   This combination turns a conventional edge-polishing operation into a more continuous workflow:   Loading → Edge Polishing → Automatic Return → Next Processing Cycle   For stone processors handling large quantities of slabs every day, this seemingly simple change can make a significant difference in production organization, labor efficiency, and material handling.   Why 22 Polishing Heads Matter in Real Production The MB-22T-3015 is configured with 22 polishing heads, making it suitable for production environments where edge finishing is a repeated, high-volume operation.   Instead of treating edge polishing as an isolated process, the machine can be integrated into a broader production line for materials such as marble, granite, quartz, and other stone slabs.   Typical Applications Countertop Production: Suitable for polishing straight edges on stone countertops before installation, especially where consistent edge finishing is required across multiple pieces. Large Slab Processing: Designed for production environments processing multiple stone slabs rather than occasional one-off fabrication. Stone Fabrication Workshops: Can be combined with loading and conveying equipment to reduce unnecessary manual handling between processing stages. Continuous Production Lines: The 22-head configuration is particularly relevant when edge polishing is one of the repeated processes within a larger stone fabrication workflow.   The Hidden Bottleneck: What Happens After Polishing? For many stone factories, the polishing machine itself is not necessarily the only bottleneck. A common workflow looks like this:   Polishing → Remove Slab → Place on Floor → Reposition → Pick Up Again → Next Process   Every additional handling step means more labor and more opportunities for scratches, collisions, or inefficient use of workshop space.   That is why the Vietnamese customer selected a return conveyor system together with the MB-22T-3015.   The conveyor rollers provide a dedicated path for slab movement, helping keep processed slabs within the production flow instead of repeatedly putting them down on the workshop floor. Machine Only vs. Integrated Handling Solution Conventional Setup Integrated Jinzuan Solution Stone slabs are manually moved after processing Slabs can move through a dedicated roller conveyor path More floor handling Less unnecessary floor placement Additional manual repositioning Smoother material transfer Processing and material handling are separated Polishing and conveying are considered as one workflow Suitable for basic production layouts Better suited to organized production-line layouts The key idea is simple: Don't optimize only the machine. Optimize what happens before and after the machine.   From “A Machine” to “A Production Workflow” This Vietnam shipment reflects a practical approach we increasingly see in stone-processing projects: customers are not only asking “How powerful is the machine?”   They are also asking: How will the slabs enter the machine? How will they leave the machine? Do workers need to lift them repeatedly? Can the equipment fit into the existing workshop layout? Can material handling be improved without completely rebuilding the factory? For this reason, equipment selection should consider the entire processing workflow, not just the main machine. The MB-22T-3015 and return conveyor system demonstrate how a polishing machine can become part of a more organized stone production line.   Why This Project Is Different 01. 22-Head Edge Polishing Configuration The MB-22T-3015 uses a 22-head configuration for repeated edge polishing operations, making it a production-oriented solution rather than a machine intended only for occasional processing.   02. Integrated Return Conveying The additional roller conveyor system creates a dedicated material-transfer route, helping reduce repeated manual movement between processing stages.   03. Less Floor-Based Handling Keeping slabs on the conveying system wherever the production layout allows can reduce unnecessary lifting, temporary placement, and repositioning.   04. Workflow-Oriented Equipment Selection The project was designed around the customer's actual production process rather than focusing on a single machine in isolation.       What Should You Consider Before Buying a Stone Edge Polishing Machine? Choosing the number of polishing heads is only one part of the decision. A more useful evaluation should include production volume, stone type, edge requirements, workshop layout, material handling, and future expansion plans. 22 Heads vs. Fewer Polishing Heads Factor Fewer Heads 22-Head Configuration Production positioning Small or flexible operations Higher-volume production Repeated edge processing Moderate Stronger fit for continuous workflows Process integration Usually simpler Suitable for production-line integration Material handling demand Often manageable manually Conveyor integration becomes more valuable Best consideration Initial investment and flexibility Throughput and production organization The right configuration depends on the customer's actual production requirements. More heads are not automatically better for every factory; the correct machine is the one that matches the required output and process. This is also why technical communication before purchase matters.   From Vietnam to the Next Production Line The August 28 shipment to Vietnam is another example of Jinzuan Technology's equipment moving beyond a single-machine concept toward complete stone-processing solutions.   The MB-22T-3015 22-head stone edge polishing machine provides the core edge-finishing capability, while the accompanying return conveyor line addresses the material-handling process around it.   For stone factories looking to improve edge polishing efficiency, reduce unnecessary slab movement, and build a more organized production workflow, this combination offers a practical direction to consider.

Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd. recently completed the successful shipment of two Industrial Impact Needle Stone Engraving Machines to overseas customers within one week, further expanding the company's presence in the international stone processing industry.   On July 14, a JZ12070 Impact Needle Engraving Machine was delivered to a customer in Vietnam. Just three days later, on July 17, another JZ580 Impact Needle Engraving Machine was shipped to Armenia. These two deliveries reflect the increasing global demand for high-quality stone portrait engraving equipment and demonstrate Jinzuan's ability to provide reliable solutions for customers with different production requirements.   Different Models for Different Production Needs Although both machines use the same impact needle engraving technology, they are designed for different applications. Shipment Date Destination Machine Model Typical Application July 14, 2026 Vietnam JZ12070 Large memorial portraits, cemetery monuments, customized stone panels July 17, 2026 Armenia JZ580 Compact portrait engraving, tombstones, personalized stone artwork   The JZ12070 offers a larger processing area, making it suitable for factories producing full-size memorial stones and decorative stone panels.   The JZ580 is designed for customers who require a more compact footprint while maintaining excellent engraving quality for portraits, commemorative plaques, and customized stone products.   Why Impact Needle Engraving Is Still Preferred for Stone Portraits As laser engraving and CNC milling continue to develop, many customers still choose impact needle engraving technology when producing black-and-white stone portraits.   The reason is simple: impact engraving creates thousands of precisely controlled dots on polished granite surfaces. The density of these dots forms highly detailed grayscale images with natural transitions, making the finished portrait clear, durable, and resistant to fading.   Compared with laser marking on stone, impact needle engraving provides: Better grayscale depth on polished granite Excellent long-term outdoor durability without color degradation Lower operating cost for continuous portrait production Stable performance for cemetery monuments and memorial projects For companies specializing in memorial stone production, this technology remains one of the most efficient and economical solutions available.   Designed for Real Production Environments Jinzuan's Precision Impact Needle Engraving Machines are built for practical factory applications rather than laboratory demonstrations. Typical production scenarios include: Granite memorial portrait engraving Cemetery monument manufacturing Customized tombstone photo engraving Pet memorial stone production Decorative stone artwork Personalized commemorative plaques With optimized motion control and stable engraving parameters, the machine can operate continuously during long production shifts while maintaining consistent dot quality and image clarity. This helps manufacturers reduce manual correction and improve production efficiency across multiple batches.   Choosing the Right Engraving Solution: Impact Needle vs. Laser Many buyers ask whether they should choose a laser engraving machine or an impact needle engraving machine. For polished granite portrait engraving, the answer depends on the application. Impact Needle Engraving Machine Produces true grayscale portraits through controlled impact dots Ideal for outdoor monuments and cemetery products Lower consumable cost Better image durability on granite Laser Engraving Machine Suitable for surface marking and fine graphic engraving Better for certain non-stone materials Limited grayscale depth on polished granite compared with impact engraving For manufacturers focused on memorial stone production, impact needle engraving remains the preferred choice because it combines image quality, production efficiency, and long-term durability.   Delivering Reliable Stone Processing Solutions Worldwide Every shipment represents more than a machine—it represents trust built through product quality, technical support, and reliable delivery.   The recent deliveries to Vietnam and Armenia once again demonstrate Quanzhou Jinzuan Technology Co., Ltd.'s commitment to serving the global stone industry with practical, efficient, and application-focused machinery.   As worldwide demand for personalized monuments and customized stone products continues to grow, Jinzuan will keep developing professional stone processing equipment that helps customers improve productivity, reduce operating costs, and produce high-value finished products for their local markets.
